Guber Candidate Bayo Adelabu Says He’s Very Happy
Adebayo Adelabu, the governorship candidate of the Accord Party in Oyo State, is very happy.
The former deputy governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria who has incumbent governor Seyi Makinde of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Senator Teslim Folarin of the APC as major contenders for the Oyo State governorship seat in 2023 confirmed this in a post via his Facebook handle today October 12, 2022.
His state of mind is not unconnected with the conferment of the National Honour award – Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic (OFR) – on his person by President Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal Government of Nigeria.
I’m indeed elated and proud to receive this honour as Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic (OFR). This is a new beginning of greater things to come in the discharge of service to our dear country,” Mr. Adelabu gladly wrote on the development.
