African Business Leader Tony Elumelu Celebrates Again

Respected African business leader, Tony Onyemaechi Elumelu, has just been hournored with another National Honour.

And it is Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic (CFR) for the billionaire economist who is on a mission to transform the continent of Africa via aggressive investment, mentorship and empowerment.

As a matter of fact, it is his third, and the chairman of notable African Conglomerates – United Bank for Africa (UBA), Heirs Holdings, Transnational Corporation Group (Transcorp), and more – is very much appreciative of the latest gesture.

The coveted national honour award was bestowed on him by the government of President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday, October 12, 2022, at the International Conference Centre, Abuja.

Commenting on the national award many have gone ahead to describe as well deserving, Mr. Elumelu, in a brief post across his social media handles, said, “I am humbled and honoured to receive my third National Honour – Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic (CFR) conferred by H.E. President Muhammad Buhari, today at the International Conference Centre Abuja.”
