No Plan To Increase PMS Prices, NNPC Says

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Ltd has said there is no plan to upwardly review prices of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS).

The nation’s petroleum company gave the assurance in a communication made available by its Chief Corporate Communications Officer, Olufemi Soneye.

The official statement where the NNPC further insisted that there is availability of PMS – otherwise known as petrol – across the country reads.

The Nigerian Nationa Petroleum Company (NNPC) Ltd.assures the pubic
that there is no imminent increase in the cost of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS),
commonly known as petrol.

NNPC Ltd.urges Nigerians to disregard unfounded rumours and assures
them that there are no plans for an upward review of the PMS price.

Motorists nationwide are advised against engaging in panic buying, as there
is presently ample availability of PMS across the country.
