Kwara Govt Begins Distribution Of Fresh 20,000 Bags Of Rice

The Kwara State Government has commenced the distribution of another 20,000 bags of 10Kg rice palliatives through Community–Based Organizations (CBOs), Non-governmental Organizations (NGOs), Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) across the state.

Coordinated by the Office of the Senior Special Assistant on Community Development, Dr Lawal Olohungbebe, the government is using CBOs and NGOs to distribute the rice palliatives to the most deserving people in different communities in this new phase.

Efforts are also ongoing on other levels to reach other segments of the society through the clerics, community leaders and other stakeholders across the 16 LGAs in Kwara.

The government had earlier distributed 10,000 bags of 10kg rice palliatives to the Nigerian Labour Congress and Trade Union Congress (TUC) for onward distribution to their members in the ongoing phase of palliatives distribution.

Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has consistently supported and will continue to support the people as inflation erodes purchasing power across the world.
