NNPCL Dismisses Speculations About Port Harcourt Refinery Operations

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd) has reacted to speculations about the operations of the Port Harcourt Refinery following an incident at a section of the facility.

The nation’s oil company’s reaction is contained in a brief communication made available on Tuesday by Olufemi O. Soneye, Chief Corporate Communications Officer of NNPCL.

The NNPCL, while reassuring the public that there was nothing to fear about, maintained “all sections of the recently rehabilitated plant are in full operation”.

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd) wishes to clarify that despite a minor incident at a section of the Port Harcourt Refining Company (PHRC) earlier today, the plant remains operational and continues to produce on-spec refined petroleum products.

NNPC Ltd assures the public that there is no cause for concern, as all sections of the recently rehabilitated plant are in full operation.
