The Macallan, Premia Business Network Partner To Host Exclusive Industry Dinner

In a dedicated effort to foster collaborative growth within Africa’s financial services industry, world-renowned whisky brand, The Macallan, partnered with pioneering business community, Premia Business Network (PBN), to host an exclusive industry dinner event.

The event, held on October 28, 2023, at Carnival restaurant, Victoria Island, Lagos, was designed to foster connections among industry professionals and explore opportunities for global empowerment and sustainable collaborations.

The dinner brought together luminaries from the business and financial services industry, including entrepreneurs, business executives, and thought leaders. It served as a platform for an immersive industry experience, emphasising networking and constructive dialogue session aimed at boosting sustainable economic growth and pioneering advancements within the sector.

Notable dignitaries included visionary industry pioneers, such as Dele Adeyinka, Chief Digital Officer at Polaris Bank; Elsa Muzzolini, General Manager of Mobile Financial Services at MTN; Chika Nwosu, Managing Director of PalmPay; Yele Okeremi, CEO of Precise Financial Systems; Bunmi Lawson, CEO and Managing Director of EdFin Microfinance, were among the distinguished executives and industry experts.

Speaking on the partnership, Brand Manager, Edrington Portfolio, Nigeria, Hammed Adebiyi, expressed, “The Macallan is delighted to be part of such a distinguished gathering. We believe that like our exceptional whisky, the financial sector is a realm where craftsmanship and dedication to perfection truly matter. During his address, CEO & Convener of PBN, Bola Lawal, emphasised the importance of collaboration and innovation in driving the nation’s economic growth.  “Cultivating a culture of collaboration and fostering innovation are not just essential; they are the very keystones that unlock the door to economic transformation. And it is In a landscape marked by dynamism and change, it is these principles, in partnership with The Macallan, that light our path towards growth and prosperity, ensuring that we remain at the forefront of progress”, he said. 

Away from the discussions, guests were treated to a lineup of culinary delights paired with The Macallan whisky, creating a harmonious environment for networking and engaging in discussions around shared interests.
