Gov Bago Receives Federal Character Commission Boss Ayo Omidiran

Niger State governor, farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago met and had Iftar with the executive chairman, Federal Character Commission, Ayo Hulayat Omidiran at the Niger State Liaison Office, Abuja.

Farmer Umaru Bago used the medium to congratulate the Chairman on her new role as chairman of the FCC and expressed confidence in her ability to perform remarkably.

The farmer governor reassured the Chairperson of his continued support to enable her to succeed in the national assignment.

The two parties held brief discussions on key areas of mutual understanding and collaborative efforts for the overall growth and development of Niger State and the country as a whole.

Mrs. Ayo Omidiran is a former two-term House of Representatives member (2011–2019) from Osun State where she worked together with the farmer governor during his time as a member, House of representatives.

She was sworn in as the Executive Chairperson, Federal Character Commission in January 2026 by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
