There was a fire outbreak at the office of the Accountant-General of the Federation in the morning of Wednesday, April 8, 2020.
Christened Treasury House, the office of the number one accounting officer in Nigeria is located on Samuel Ladoke Akintola Boulevard, Garki 2, Abuja.
According to a report by punch.ng, the cause of the fire, which started about 10 am, is yet to be ascertained.
Checks revealed men of the Federal Fire Service in collaboration with the National Emergency Management Agency are currently battling to contain the fire.
