Abducted Greenfield University Students Freed After 40 Days In Captivity

The remaining 14 kidnapped students of Greenfield University in Kaduna State have regained their freedom.

They were reportedly freed today, Saturday, May 29, 2021.

The students’ release comes after spending 40 days in their abductors’ custody.

They were kidnapped from the private university’s hostels on April 20, 2021.

Samuel Aruwan, the Commissioner for Home Affairs and Internal Security in Kaduna State, confirmed the release of the students to BBC Hausa Service on Saturday.
