Abdul Samad Rabiu Approves 50% Salary Increment For BUA Group’s Staff

The chairman of BUA Group, Abdul Samad Rabiu has approved a 50 percent salary increase for all staff members.

According to information, the increment takes effect from February 1, 2024 and with all staffs, permanent and nonpermanent, captured in the arrangement.

The development, highstreet.ng understands, was communicated to the staff of the Nigerian conglomerate – with interests in manufacturing, infrastructure and agriculture – via an internal memo signed by Mr. Mohammed Wali, BUA Group’s Head of Human Resources.

The billionaire businessman who has been doing so much to stamp out poverty from the continent of Africa through his philanthropic initiative, ASR Africa (Abdul Samad Rabiu Initiative) reportedly took the decision to mitigate the economic challenges prevailing in the country.

The memo announcing Mr Rabiu’s decision partly reads

“Sequel to the above development, the Human Resources and Finance departments are processing the increase to ensure that it is captured in the February 2024 payroll.

“It is hoped that with this magnanimous gesture, we will be more committed to our duties and put in our very best to justify the confidence reposed in us,”
