Actress Omoni Oboli Tells Parents, Caregiver How To Enhance Children’s Spelling Ability

Parents and caregivers have been enjoined to help enhance their children and wards spelling ability to improve their vocabulary.

Nollywood actress, Omoni Oboli made this call against the backdrop of the 2021 edition of the MTN mPulse Spelling Bee Competition.

In a video on her Instagram feed, Oboli encouraged parents to support and motivate their children and wards in their creative and academic activities in a bid to helping them achieve their full potential.

According to her, “Every child is a genius at something. It is up to us as parents, teachers, and guardians to help them discover what that is and support them to be as good at it as they can be.”

Oboli called on parents, guardians, and teachers to take advantage of the MTN mPulse Spelling Bee Competition as an opportunity to support their children to showcase their genius.

The MTN mPulse Spelling Bee Competition which is in its third year, is open to pupils and students between the ages of 9 and 15 from primary and secondary schools in Nigeria.

Prospective participants may register to participate on www.mtnonline.com/mpulse. Registration closes on October 3, 2021.

A spelling bee is a competition in which participants are asked to spell a broad selection of words, usually with a varying degree of difficulty.
