Adeleke Condoles Ooni Over Devastating Loss Of Elder Brother

The Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has expressed profound sadness over the news of the passing of Prince Adetunji Ogunwusi, the elder brother of the Ooni of Ile-Ife, HIM Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi Enitan, Ojaja I.

Governor Adeleke extends heartfelt condolences to the Arole Oduduwa over the devastating loss of Prince Ogunwusi. The Governor also commiserated with the Ogunwusi family, the people of Ile-Ife and everyone impacted by the death of the business tycoon.

“It is disheartening to hear about the passing of Prince Adetunji Ogunwusi, the elder brother of the Ooni of Ile-Ife, HIM Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi Enitan, Ojaja I. While he was alive, Prince Ogunwusi stood as a source of comfort and hope for many, utilizing his God-given wealth to support people in dire needs,” Governor Adeleke noted in a condolence message.

“As a Governor, I recognise the loss of Prince Ogunwusi as a personal loss given his contributions, particularly in Ile-Ife, where his kindness has helped shaped many lives. In this moment of grief, I offer Kabiyesi and everyone touched by this touching loss my thoughts, prayers and solidarity.”

Governor Adeleke prays to God to grant repose to the soul of the departed while urging everyone impacted by the demise of Prince Ogunwusi to honour his memory by continually upholding the vision of empowering people and dignity that defined his time here.
