Adeleke Is The Governor Of Osun State, Supreme Court Rules

The supreme court has affirmed the election of Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the governor of Osun state.

The apex court, in its ruling today May 9, 2023, declared the entire proceeding of the Tribunal as nullity.

Ademola Adeleke was rightly reinstated by the court of appeal as the governor of the state, the five-member panel the supreme court ruled.

Mr Adeleke’s victory at the gubernatorial poll was challenged by former Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
