Ahmadu Fintiri Wins Adamawa Guber Election

Ahmadu Fintiri has been reelected as the governor of Adamawa State.

Fintiri, who is the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), was declared the winner of the gubernatorial contested today, April 18, 2023 by the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC).

He polled a total of 430,861 votes to defeat his major challenger Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed, popularly known as Aishatu Binani, of the All Progressives Congress who scored 398,788 votes.
