Aide Confirms CJN Tanko Muhammad’s Resignation

The Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Ibrahim Tanko Muhammad has resigned.

According to information, Mr Tanko Muhammad tendered his resignation letter on Sunday.

He took the step on health grounds, highstreet.ng understands.

The development was confirmed by Ahuraka Yusuf Isah, his Special Assistant on Media and Communication on Monday, June 27, 2022.

“The latest information is that the CJN has resigned; I spoke with somebody very close to him and he said he has resigned”, Mr Isha reportedly said.
