Aiyedatiwa Sets Up Committee For Ondo At 50, Administration’s First Year Anniversary

The Governor of Ondo State, Dr Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has constituted a 16-man planning committee for the 50th anniversary of the creation of the State and the first anniversary of his administration.

Both events hold in February 2026.

The committee will be chaired by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti, while the Permanent Secretary, Cabinet Matters, Pastor Adeyemi Adeyemo, will serve as Secretary.

The committee:
1. Dr. Taiwo O Fasoranti, Chairman
2. Hon. Omowunmi Isaac
3. Dr. Kayode Ajulo, SAN, OON
4. Prince Segun Omojuwa
5. Mr. Bayo Philip
6. Mr. Idowu Ajanaku
7. Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan
8. Mr. Kenneth Stevenson-Odusola
9. Mr. Muyiwa Ogunyemi
10. Mr. Summy Smart Francis
11. Engr. Razak Obe
12. Engr. Femi Akarakiri
13. Hon. Omowunmi Ohwovoriole
14. Hon. Afolabi Adesoji
15. Chief Gbenga Atiba
16. Pastor Adeyemi Adeyemo, Secretary

The committee is expected to constitute sub-committees that will cover the various aspects of the planning for the celebrations.

The Governor charged members of the committee to put in their best efforts towards organising beffiting anniversary events for the government and the people of the State.
