APC Names Niger Gov Bago Into Ekiti Guber Campaign Council
Niger State Governor Farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago was among the members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Campaign Council and chairman for the youth mobilisation subcommittee for the Ekiti State governorship election inaugurated.
The National Chairman of the APC, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, inaugurated the campaign council in Abuja.
Prof. Yilwatda said the party has all it takes to win the forthcoming Ekiti State governorship election and charged the campaign council and all the subcommittees to work assiduously to ensure the re-election of Governor Biodun Oyebanji for the 2nd term.
The Campaign Council is to be chaired by Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani and co-chaired by the Senate president, Sen. Godswill Akpabio, while Sen. Micheal Opeyemi Bamidele will serve as the secretary.
Similarly, the Farmer Governor is the chairman of the Youth mobilisation subcommittee of the campaign council, with his Kogi and Ebonyi State counterparts Ahmed Usman Ododo and Francis Nwifuru as co-chairmen respectively.
Others are Deputy Governor of Edo StateDennis Idahosa as vice chairman and Ogbe Oghenetega as a member of the sub-committee.
