Baba Ijesha Finally Granted Bail
Nigerian actor Olanrewaju Omiyinka, popularly known as Baba Ijesha, arrested and detained for allegedly assaulting a minor has been granted bail.
He was granted bail today May 17, 2021 on health ground.
According to punching.com, his lawyer, Adesina Ogunlana, confirmed the development on Monday.
“He has been granted bail about one hour ago. We are working to perfect the bail. He was granted bail on health grounds. He has not been released. He will be released after his bail conditions have been perfected,” he said.
The suspect’s lawyer listed bail conditions as two reliable sureties – a level 10 officers, and a direct blood relation – and N500,000 bail bond in like sum.
Mr Omiyinka was arrested on April 19 by the Nigerian Police following a complaint by comedienne Princess Adekola Adekanye.
