Babatunde Gbadamosi Wins PDP Ticket, To Battle Ex-Polaris Bank CEO Abiru For Senator Osinowo’s Seat

Babatunde Olalere Gbadamosi has picked the ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to contest the Lagos East Senatorial bye-election.

 The politician, who contested the 2019 governorship election in the state on the platform of Action Democratic Party (ADP), will slug it at the poll with the former Chief Executive Officer of Polaris Bank, Tokunbo Abiru of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

The bye-election holds on Saturday, October 31.

The Senatorial seat became vacant following the demise of Senator Bayo Osinowo.

The late senator reportedly died of coronavirus on July 15, 2020.
