Bago Attends Funeral Prayer For Ex-Gov Babangida Aliyu’s Mother

Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago was among hundreds of sympathizers that attended the funeral prayer of Hajiya Jamila Aliyu, mother of the former Governor of Niger State, Dr. Mua’zu Babangida Aliyu.

The Chief Imam of Minna, Mallam Ibrahim Isah Fari led the funeral prayer which was held at the Central Mosque Minna.

The farmer Governor was equally present at the Ungwan Daji cemetery, where the deceased was laid to rest.

While condoling with Dr. Babangida Aliyu, the farmer Governor urged him to take solace in Allah and be comforted by the fact that his mother lived an accomplished life.

Some dignitaries at the funeral were the Deputy Governor of Niger State Comrade Yakubu Garba, former Niger State Governor Senator Abubakar Sani Bello, Senator Muhammad Sani Musa, former Niger State Deputy Governor, Ambassador Ahmed Musa Ibeto.

Others are top government officials, the Emirs of Kontagora, Lapai, Minna and Kagara, Muhammad Babangida, APC and PDP stalwarts.
