BHM Now A Member Of PRCA, World’s Largest PR Professional Body

BlackHouse Media (BHM) today, confirmed its membership of the Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA), the world’s largest Public Relations and Communications body.

Ayeni Adekunle, BHM’s Founder and C.E.O says the company believes in PRCA’s mission to promote all aspects of public relations and communications and raise standards in PR and communications, providing members with industry data, facilitating the sharing of communications best practice and creating networking opportunities.

Founded in 1969, the Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) is a PR and communications body with offices in London, Dubai, Singapore and Buenos Aires. The PRCA operates in 70 countries around the world, representing more than 35,000 PR professionals globally.

BHM now joins an elite list of Nigerian and African members of the PRCA.

The PRCA membership provides opportunities for exceptional training, provision of industry data, sharing best practices, lobbying and continuous professionals development, helping members offer more exceptional, value driven services to clients and other industry stakeholders.

‘We will continue to work with the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations and the Public Relations Consultants Association of Nigeria’,  Ayeni says. ‘But as part of our strategic growth plans, we will now begin to, in addition, seek opportunities associations like the PRCA will provide our company and our consultants, as we move to play on the international stage. ‘

BHM was founded in 2006 by Ayeni, a former journalist. The company has now grown to become one of the most promising PR and Comms organisations in Sub Saharan Africa, working for respected clients across FMCG, ICT, Telecommunications, Finance, Media and Entertainment.

‘We will spend the next couple of years making our company stronger locally and internationally’, Ayeni says.

‘But we will also invest enormous resources in our work to help organisations utilize PR and influence better. We have already proposed for November 22 every year starting this year to be recognised and celebrated as the Global Day of Influence; and for July 16 of every year starting 2021 to be the World PR Day.’
