Abdul Samad Rabiu, Chairman of BUA Group, met with President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace in Paris on Wednesday, March 12, 2026.

Following the meeting, the billionaire businessman—whose ASR Africa initiative continues to drive social impact across the continent—took to social media to thank the French leader, describing him as a valued friend.

“A pleasure to meet again with President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace in the City of Light. I truly value our friendship and his inspiring leadership,” he posted.

The high-level encounter occurs at a peak moment for the entrepreneur, who was recently named Africa’s biggest wealth gainer in Forbes Africa’s 2026 Richest People ranking. His fortune reportedly surged by 120 percent to $11.2 billion.
