Chief Of Army Staff, Ibrahim Attahiru Dies In Kaduna Plane Crash

The newly appointed Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Ibrahim Attahiru is dead.

He died in a plane crash today, May 21, 2021.

A military plane, beachcraft 350 he was travelling in alongside seven other officers crash landed and went up in flames in Kaduna.

The plane reportedly crashed at the runway of the Kaduna International Airport at 6pm.

“Beachcraft 350. 8 souls on board. Unfortunately all dead,” Commissioner and Chief Executive Officer of the Accident Investigation Bureau, Nigeria, Akin Olateru, confirmed the unfortunate incident in short message sent out.
