Deputy Senate President Barau Appoints Ajimobi’s Son SA

The Deputy Senate President, Senator Jibrin Barau, has appointed Idris Ajimobi as Special Adviser on Special Duties.

According to information, the appointment takes effects immediately.

Idris Ajimobi is the son of the deceased former governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi.

Married to fatimo Ganduje, daughter of former governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Ganduje, was the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Ibadan South-West II State Constituency during the 2023 general elections.

He was defeated by the candidate of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
