“Devastating & Shocking” Gov Abiodun Reaches Out To Mele Kyari On Daughter’s Death

The governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun has described the death of Fatima Kyari, the 25 years old daughter of the Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), Mele Kyari, as devastating and shocking.

Kyari’s daughter, Fatima breathed her last on Friday, October 11, 2024 following protracted illness.

Governor Abiodun said this in a condolence massage to the grieving boss of the nation’s petroleum company on Saturday, October 12, 2024.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Ltd (NNPCL), Mr. Mele Kyari, on the passing of his daughter, Fatima.

Fatima, who was just 25 years old, sadly passed away on Friday, leaving behind a void that words cannot fill. Her death is both devastating and shocking to us all.

In this moment of grief, we pray that God rests her soul and brings comfort to the family she left behind. We believe that the prayers of all Nigerians will be a source of strength for the Kyari family during this difficult time.

We want our brother, Mele Kyari, to know that we stand with him in this trying moment, and we pray that Almighty God consoles him and his entire family, granting them the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss.
