EFCC Secures Final Forfeiture Of 48 Properties Linked To EX-AGF Malami

A total of 48 properties linked to Abubakar Malami, the former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, have been permanently forfeited to the Federal Government.

The final forfeiture was secured by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) today, Wednesday, July 15, 2026.

In her ruling, Justice Joyce Abdulmalik of the Federal High Court in Abuja held that the anti-graft agency successfully established that the properties were reasonably suspected to be proceeds of unlawful activities and were not acquired through lawful sources of income.
