As Muslims celebrate eid-el- fitr following the end of Ramadan fasting, the leading Osun guber aspirant, ‘ Kunle Rasheed Adegoke (K Rad), has congratulated the Muslim Ummah in Osun and Nigeria on a successful completion as he urged the Ummah to imbibe the virtues of the holy month.

This was contained in an Eid-el-Fitr message, Mr. Adegoke released today in Osogbo.

The leading All Progressives (APC) Governorship aspirant admonished Muslims and the entire Ummah to remain committed to the virtues and lessons of Ramadan.

“Without these virtues of brotherly love, equity, piety, togetherness, fairness and justice in the daily lives of Muslims, it will be futile and arduous for Muslims to find or match spirituality in the attainment of progress and success.”

K-Rad therefore, admonished Muslims to draw closer to Allah while exhibiting the ultimate reflection of forgiveness in their conduct and acts towards one another – Muslims and non-Muslims alike.

The local-bred, but globally exposed aspirant further expressed his appreciation to the entire Muslims in Osun in particular and the Ummah in Nigeria and beyond for their sacrifice in prayers, love, and warm support during the holy month, and asked that such acts continue long after Ramadan.

“Looking for success in all we do, we must, as believers, remain steadfast and close to Allah who is sufficient to all our needs”, he admonished.
