Ex Gov Ambode Gets New Appointment
Former governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode has just got a new appointment.
He is now the deputy chairman of the south-west subcommittee of the contact and strategy committee of his political party, All Progressives Congress (APC).
Mr Ambode, who served as governor of Lagos State for a single term (2015 – 2019), and denied a return ticket, personally broke the news of his new party position via his twitter handle.
He made the revelation on Tuesday May 18, 2021.
“I was recently appointed as Deputy Chairman of the Southwest subcommittee of the Contact & Strategy Committee of our great party (APC), to help deepen & consolidate gains of the party in the region, prepare it as a strong & viable institution for the present & foreseeable future,” he tweeted.
