Ex-Police Boss Tafa Balogun Is Dead

Tafa Balogun, a former inspector-General of Police is dead.

According to information, he breathed his last in the evening of Thursday, August 4, 2022.

Born on 25 August 1947, Mr Balogun passed on at the age of 74.

Balogun, who reportedly gave up the ghost at the Reddington Hospital, Lekki, was appointed the Inspector-General of Police in March 2002. But sadly forced out the police following charges of corruption brought against his person the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) in January 2005.
