Faces As Billionaire Taiwo Afolabi Marks 60th Birthday With Donation Of Multimillion Naira Worship Centre

On Sunday, June 19, 2022, dignitaries from all walks of life gathered in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, to celebrate with Taiwo Afolabi, the billionaire businessman behind maritime big name, SIFAX Group.

The event was the second phase of the 60th birthday celebration of the wealthy Nigerian and his twin brother, Mr. Kehinde Afolabi.

And he spectacularly marked it with a donation of a multimillion naira worship centre – The Samuel Afolabi Anglican Church – to Ijebu Ode Anglican Diocese.

Also dedicated alongside the church -named after Mr. Afolabi’s late father – were a well-equipped vicarage and a brand new passenger bus.

Born on April 29, 1962, the wealthy Nigerian and his twin brother had the first leg of their birthday celebration at The Ballroom, Sheraton Grand, Park Lane, Piccadily, London, WIJ 7BX.

The high profile ceremony had in attendance prominent figures like Chief Olusegun Obasanjo; Ogun State governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun: Otunba Gbenga Daniel; Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi; Oluwo of Iwo, Oba AbdulRasheed Akanbi; Elegushi of Ikateland, Oba Saheed Elegushi; Mrs. Olufunso Amosun: Otunba Iyiola Omisore, National Secretary, All Progressives Congress (APC); Mr. Alex Okoh, Director General, Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE); Mrs. Kemi Adeosun, former Finance Minister and Otunba Bimbo Ashiru, former Commissioner of Trade and Commerce in Ogun State, among others.
