The emerging talk have it that Bello who has declared interest in succeeding President Muhammed Buhari – and battling different kinds of controversies of his own, especially the handling of the corona virus crises in his state –   is luring Fani Kayode from the People’s Democratic Party to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) with the scent of the possibility of a Vice Presidential slot.

The information milling about in the political circle has  it that Fani Kayode who is battling the added trouble of the erupting mess from a collapsed marriage as well as dark accusations from former workers is keen on the offer but wants added weight put on it from Aso Rock.

That is why Fani Kayode is yet to officially cross over to the APC despite declaration by Yahaya Bello aligning him with the ruling party, yet they continue to hobnob together publicly gist merchants say.

The colorful politicians’ recent antics, particularly providing solutions to the touted food blockade are believed to be part of the motions to show a new found synergy and foundation for their plan.

Many are keen to see how this move turns out for Bello whose re-election was decorated with outrage over violence that trailed it and Fani Kayode who swallows his unchecked criticism of President Buhari and the APC with this latest twist in his political career.
