Foremost Business Leader Tony Elumelu Reemphasizes What Road To Success Looks Like

Respected African business leader and chairman of United Bank for Africa (UBA) Group, Tony Elumelu has just emphatically reemphasized that the road to success in business and beyond requires a lot.

The businessman who also chairs Heirs Holdings, a conglomerate with interest in Real Estate, Hospitality, Oil and Gas, Power, Banking, and Insurance, maintained there is no quick fix as far as success is concerned.

Mr. Elumelu, married to Awele Vivien Elumelu, a medical doctor, and blessed with seven children, made the assertion in a Facebook post on Monday, July 26, 2021.

The holder of two degrees in economics (bachelor and master of science degrees) from Ambrose Alli University and the University of Lagos respectively who retired from United Bank for Africa as Chief Executive Officer in 2010 at only age 48 hashtagged the fast becoming popular post “#MondayMotivation #EyesOnTheBall #LaserFocus”

“Success is a long-term journey. There is no quick fix. You will make mistakes. You will have challenges. But for you to succeed, you must be disciplined, resilient and make sacrifices”, the success nugget reads.

The founder of The Tony Elumelu Foundation through which he has empowered over 7,520 African entrepreneurs across 54 African countries further maintained there is no short route to success.

“There’s no shortcut to success. Believe in yourself, set a target and stay resilient through the course”, he stated.
