Former Gov Olunloyo Passes On At 89
Former Governor of Oyo State, Dr Victor Omololu Olunloyo is dead.
He reportedly passed on in the early hours of today, April 6, 2025, at age 89.
Born on April 14, 1935, his death came to be eight days to his 90th birthday.
A Nigerian mathematician turned politician, Dr Olunloyo served as the governor of Oyo State from 1 October 1983 to 31 December 1983.
His reign and other fellow governors were truncated by the military regime of General Muhammadu Buhari.
