Gov Aiyedatiwa Rejoices With Fayose At 65

The Governor of Ondo State, Dr Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, on Saturday, November 15, 2025, and his wife, Oluwaseun, joined other dignitaries to celebrate former Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Ayo Fayose, as he marked his 65th birthday, in Lagos.

In his goodwill message, the Governor commended Fayose’s courage, steadfastness and undying commitment to whatever cause he believes in.

He said: “I warmly celebrate you today on the joyous occasion of your 65th birthday. I join your family, friends, and countless well-wishers in thanking God for your life of courage, conviction, and service to the people of Ekiti State and to our nation.

“I hold in high regard your steadfast commitment to democratic ideals and your remarkable connection with the grassroots, which have defined your years in public leadership.

“Your boldness in speaking your truth, your passion for the welfare of ordinary citizens, and your contributions to the growth of our political space remain worthy of commendation.

“As you mark another year, I pray that God will grant you renewed strength, wisdom, and fulfilment in all your endeavours. May His grace continue to guide you and keep you in good health.”

The event was attended by Vice President Kashim Shettima, former President Olusegun Obasanjo, former Senate President Bukola Saraki, Governor Abiodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi and former Governors of Ekiti, Otunba Niyi Adebayo and Dr. Kayode Fayemi, among many other dignitaries.
