Gov Akeredolu wins APC Guber primary In Ondo State

The Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu, has emerged the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the October 10 governorship election in the state.

Mr Akeredolu who defeated seven other aspirants to pick the ruling party ticket won in all the local government areas of the state.

The chairman of the Ondo State All Progressives Congress Primary Election Committee, Governor Yahaya Bello announced him as the winner after the exercise that lasted several hours.

Major Aspirants Step Down For Akeredolu In Ondo Ahead APC Guber Primary

Governor Akeredolu polled 2,458 votes while Chief Olusola Oke came second with 262 votes.

Mr Isaac Kekemeke, a former chairman of APC in the state, emerged third after polling 19 votes.
