Capital Oil boss and senator representing Anambra South, Ifeanyi Ubah has lost his senatorial seat.

This development is courtesy of a judgement by the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory in Kubwa, Abuja today Friday January 17, 2020 reaffirming its earlier pronouncement.

According to information, the businessman turned politician had earlier been sacked by Justice Bello Kawu for allegedly submitting a forged National Examination Council certificate to contest the February 23, 2019 senatorial election.

A report by Punchng.com revealed the judge had also ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission to withdraw the certificate of return issued to Ubah.

The judge further directed that Dr. Obinna Uzoh of the Peoples Democratic Party, who came second at the election be issued a fresh certificate.
