Gov Diri Signs N699.57bn 2025 Bayelsa Budget Into Law

Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, today has given his assent to the 2025 Appropriation Bill making it a law.

The 2025 Budget which is tagged, “Budget of ASSURED Prosperity was signed into law at the Governor’s Conference Room, Government House, Yenagoa.

“This budget is not just a financial document, it is a testament to our unflinching commitment to the growth and development of our dear State, in crafting this budget, we have prioritized critical sectors that will foster economic growth, create jobs and enhance the quality of life for all citizens”, Governor Diri stated.

Governor Diri also appreciated the Speaker of the State House of Assembly and its members for their collaboration and timely passage of the budget, describing them as prolific.

The approved budget signed into law is N699, 573,167,592.00.
