Gov Diri Tells Criminals To Steer Clear Of Bayelsa State

Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri has warned criminals to steer clear of the state, emphasizing that his administration won’t tolerate any form of crime and criminality.

This warning was made during the 40th state security council meeting with security commanders, in Government House, Yenagoa.

The governor also emphasized the need for synergy among security agencies to bring crime to the barest minimum, while appreciating the state’s police command for the arrest of the killer of estate agent, Richard Ekpebu.

“And for those of you who think that Bayelsa is a safe haven, you now know that whatever you are doing in Bayelsa, you will be apprehended at the end of the day.

So, Bayelsa is not safe for anyone who has criminal intentions”, Governor Diri said.
