Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, PhD has said his administration will continue to foster a friendly business environment that will attract more investors to the State.

The Governor made this known on Friday, at the opening of a new Branch of Premium Trust Bank in Uyo, the state capital.

While emphasizing the importance of partnership with the financial services sector in driving the State’s economic growth through Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (SMEs), the State Chief Executive expressed delight at the bank’s intentional programmes to support the development of youths in the country, expressing optimism that with the establishment of its presence in the State, such benefits will be extended to Akwa Ibom youth.

“As someone from the private sector, I understand the need to create an enabling environment which can attract investors and help them maximize profits while creating jobs for our youth and helping to boost the Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) base of the State.
