Gov Eno Pays Inspection Visit To Agricultural Equipment Leasing Company Site In Uyo

As part of activities marking Day 2 of his ongoing Projects Delivery Tour, Governor Umo Eno today visited the construction site of the State Agricultural Equipment Leasing Company at Ekpri Nsukaba, Uyo.

The state-of-the-art facility is designed to house machine sheds  for tractors and modern farming machines, modern maintenance and repair workshop and a training centre for operators and technicians.

Governor Eno, visibly impressed by the pace and quality of work, tasked the Ministry of Agriculture and the contractors to intensify efforts to ensure the early launch of the facility for public use.

In a  move to fast-track completion, the Governor directed the immediate release of funds to the company, underscoring his administration’s commitment to mechanised farming and enhanced food production.

This inspection marks the second project site visited by the Governor out of the 11 scheduled for Day 2 of the tour and reinforcing his resolve to deliver  mechanized agricultural  transformation in Akwa Ibom State.
