Gov Eno Pays Unscheduled Inspection Visit To Ibom Towers Project Site

Following the conclusion of the Executive Council Retreat in Lagos , Akwa Ibom State Governor Pastor Umo Eno, today paid an unscheduled inspection visit to the Ibom Towers project site, where he reviewed ongoing work and assessed progress on the landmark commercial development.

Governor Eno at the expressed satisfaction with the ground piling work currently in progress but emphasized the need for strict adherence to  technical specification and set target  for the completion of the substructure phase.

In a strong message of economic inclusion, the Governor directed the contractors to prioritize the engagement of Akwa Ibom-owned companies and service providers in the execution of the project. He noted that such partnerships would not only promote local content but also empower indigenous businesses.

The Governor was accompanied to the Victoria Island site of the Commercial venture by the Secretary to the State Government, Prince Enobong Uwah; Executive Assistant and Chief Delivery Advisor, Aniefiok Johnson; Chief Executive of Hensek, Engr. Uwem Okoko; Dean of Commissioners, Rt. Hon. Frank Archibong; Commissioner for Special Duties, Comrade Ini Ememobong; Commissioner for Information, Rt. Hon. Aniekan Umanah; the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Special Duties; and project consultants.

The Ibom Towers, a multi-storey commercial development, is a strategic investment expected to significantly boost the state’s economic footprint beyond its borders.
