Gov Ikpeazu Recovers From Coronavirus

The Governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu has finally tested negative for coronavirus.

The good news is coming 27 days after he went into isolation following his positive status for the dreaded disease ravaging the world over.

A statement on the heartwarming development by John Kalu, the Commissioner for Information in the government of Mr Ikpeazu reads…

“To the glory of God, repeat COVID-19 test conducted by Nigeria Center for Disease Control on samples submitted by Governor Okezie Ikpeazu on Thursday, 2nd July, 2020, returned negative result on Friday, 3rd July, 2020,” he said. 
“Governor Ikpeazu is therefore deemed free of the virus according to the extant guidelines of NCDC and the World Health Organisation.”
