Gov Soludo Delivers 40.6km Road In Orumba South LGA

Governor Charles Soludo’s ongoing infrastructural and transformational drive has been extended to Orumba South Local Government Area (LGA) by constructing a massive 40.6 km road project in the LGA.

The governor has completed road tarring in 12 of the 15 communities that make up Orumba South LGA and has greatly improved the people’s lives, making it easier to connect and travel.

The roads already completed include 16.4km of Ajai-Akpu-Nawfija Road,12. 5km Ezira-Umuomaku-Enugu Umuonyia-Achina Road, 4.2 km Eziagu-Umunze Road and the 7.8km Achina- Onne-Agbudu–Ogboji road Aguata and Orumba South .

According to Ogechukwu Ibemesi, Director General, Solution in the Hinterland, Governor Soludo’s work in Orumba South demonstrates his dedication to building a connected, inclusive Anambra. His focus on uplifting every part of Anambra, especially those often left behind, is making a real difference and earning the admiration of the people of the state.

Soludo’s developmental initiatives, beyond the state capital, is spreading into the heart of rural communities, ensuring that they experience progress and prosperity.

This underscores the governor’s commitment and focus on areas that have long been overlooked, recognising that true development only happens when every community is empowered with key infrastructure, with a vision for a united and thriving state.

 According to the Commissioner for Information, Law Mefor, Governor Soludo’s vision of turning Anambra State into a destination of choice is being felt in every part of Anambra State.

Recently, Soludo embarked on a strategic visit to Orumba South Local Government Area, reinforcing his administration’s dedication to improving infrastructure, boosting economic opportunities, and enhancing community security.

During the visit, Governor Soludo announced plans for the construction of a crucial road linking St. Augustine Rest Assured Hotel to the Community High School and the Umunze Ultra-Modern Market. This significant infrastructure project will greatly improve mobility for residents and visitors, seamlessly connecting Umunze to the Umuchu Bye-Pass Road.

He revealed ambitious plans to develop notable attractions such as the Owerre-Ezukalla waterfall and cave, alongside the renowned Ogbunike cave, to boost tourism, create job opportunities, and stimulate economic growth in the region.

Given that, the Mayor of Orumba South, Mr. Shaedrack Azubuike, and community leaders expressed gratitude for Soludo’s leadership and relentless efforts to transform the region.
