GTBank Appreciates Customers For Extraordinary Patience, Support

GTBank, the flagship subsidiary of Guaranty Trust Holding Company (GTCO), has reached out to its numerous customers for believing in the bank during its recent transition to a new core banking system.

In a statement – massage of appreciation – made available to media houses as well as across its social media channels on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 the leading financial institution, while recognising how the service disruption experienced during the period affected business operations and individual transactions, said show of support and patience on that part of its customers “has been nothing short of extraordinary.”

“Your trust is the foundation on which we stand, and your patience and support during this recent transition to a new core Banking System, has been nothing short of extraordinary, the Segun Agbaje-led financial brand with 12 Euromoney’s Best Bank in Nigeria awards stated in the message of appreciation.

“When we began the process of implementing the new Finacle Suite of Core Banking Application Systems, our goals were clear. to remain agile as we grow, adaptable, and most importantly, to improve your service experience. Yet, we must humbly acknowledge the challenges along the way. The process, though necessary, brought with it delays in transaction processing and interruptions to what should be seamless service and we sincerely apologize for this, the thank you message that indicated the bank truly acknowledged challenges experienced by its customers further read.

And apparently determined not to rest on its oars the Africa’s Most Admired Finance Brand said “As we move on to our custom of seamless service experiences, we would like to assure you of our commitment to the goals we set at the start of implementing this change and that every effort we make hereon will be driven by a single purpose; to uphold the highest standards of service experience you expect and ensure that our relationship with you thrives far into the future.”
