Here Are All MTN Short Codes With Updated Benefits You Should Know

The new telecommunication tariff regime is now in effect, bringing adjusted product pricing and updated benefits for subscribers. As part of broader efforts to help users get the most out of every Naira spent, telecom providers are deploying different strategies—with MTN Nigeria staying firmly in the lead.

To make services more seamless, affordable, and transparent for all users—whether you’re a data-heavy user, caller, or a social-only surfer—MTN Nigeria has streamlined its shortcodes. The company, which plays high-impact roles in sectors like education (MTN Foundation Scholarship), sports (MTN Champs), and national orientation (Go MAD campaign), is reshaping access to its services.

For instance, the shortcode to recharge is now *311*PIN#, while airtime balance is checked with *310#. The data balance shortcode is *323#, which now displays all active bundles including social, daily, and promotional data.

Borrowing credit or data is now done via *303#, with service fees ranging from 10–15% depending on the amount borrowed.

To buy data, users can dial *312#, which gives access to MTN Nigeria’s bundle plans crafted to suit the prevailing economic realities. Daily plans (24-hour validity) include:

75MB for N75 – Text 114 to 312
