How Atiku Abubakar Won PDP Presidential Primary

The former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has emerged the candidate of the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for the 2023 election.

The presidential primary election held at MKO Abiola International Stadium in Abuja.

He polled a total of 371 votes to defeat other contestants in the race.

The governor of Rivers State,Nyesom Wike came second in the contest with 237.

Anyim Pius Anyim, Governor Undom Emmanuel, Sam Ohuabunwa, Governor Bala Mohammed and Diana Oliver got 14, 38, 1, 20 and 1 votes respectively.
