How Former Gov Alao-Akala Died

Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala, the former governor of Oyo State, is dead.

He passed on in the early hours of today, Wednesday, January 12, 2022.

Mr Alao-Akala, who served as deputy governor in the government of Rashidi Ladoja between 2003 and 2006, reportedly died in his sleep at age 71.

His death came to be in his home town of Ogbomoso, Oyo state.

A ranking member of the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC), Akala ruled Oyo State between 2007 and 2011.
