Images As Tinubu Seeks Jonathan’s Support For Presidential Bid
The presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu paid former President Goodluck Jonathan a planned visit in his Abuja home on Tuesday, August 30, 2022.
According to information, the mission of the former governor of Lagos State who was accompanied by his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima, was to seek the support of the former president ahead of the 2023 general elections.
Also on the entourage of Asiwaju Tinubu during the Tuesday night visit were five APC governors. They included the Governor of Plateau State and Director-General of his Presidential Campaign Council, Simon Lalong; his Ogun State counterpart, Dapo Abiodun; Zamfara State Governor, Bello Matawale; Jigawa State Governor, Abubakar Badaru and Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
