The presidential candidate of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2023 general election, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima this afternoon of May 28, 2024 attended funeral prayer for the deceased former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Lamorde at the National Mosque, Abuja.
Also joined in the special prayer for the departed soul were the National Security Adviser, Malam Nuhu Ribadu and Senator Ali Ndume.

It was with a heavy heart that I joined the funeral prayer for the late Ibrahim Lamorde at the National Mosque this afternoon. I pray that his family and friends be comforted. May Allah SWT forgive his sins and grant him a peaceful return. Amin -AA
