In Police Custody EFCC Boss Ibrahim Magu Suspended

Ibrahim Magu, the Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has been suspended.

He was reportedly asked to step aside today July 7 2020 on reportedly on the order of President Muhammadu Buhari.

President Buhari’s decision to relieve Mr Magu of his position came to be 24hours after his arrest and subsequent detention by Federal Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) of Nigeria Police.

The suspended EFCC Boss’ travails is said to be in connection with multiple allegations brought against his person by the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami.
